- Experiments at the KIT Model Fluid Facility (KIMOF).
- Effect of wall roughness due to corrosion on heat tranfser.
- Measurement of heat transfer coefficients and pressure losses.
- Development of new correlation for heat transfer to supercritical pressure fluids at rough wall.
- Supervision of Bachelor's and Master's theses in the frame of the projects ECC-SMART and H2GG
Application of Neural Networks to thermal hydraulic problems:
- Presdicitons of heat tranfer at supercritical pressure conditions.
- Prediciton of CHF at wall boiling
- CFD with aid of Neural Networks
